About EXIF Viewer
View complete EXIF metadata, GPS location, camera info, and run a privacy audit on any image — everything stays in your browser.
How to use EXIF Viewer
- 1Upload an image (JPG, PNG, WebP, or TIFF).
- 2View organized metadata: file info, camera make/model, shooting settings, and dates.
- 3Check the GPS Location section — if coordinates are found, view them on a map.
- 4Review the Privacy Audit panel for sensitive data (location, device serial, owner name).
- 5Use "Strip & Download" to remove all metadata and export a clean image.
Tips
- Always check the privacy audit before sharing photos online — GPS data reveals where you were.
- Camera serial numbers and owner names in EXIF can be used to identify you.
- Export metadata as JSON or CSV (Starter+) for archiving or batch analysis.
