About Open Graph Debugger
Preview and debug how your URL looks when shared on Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Slack — with OG score, missing tags, and one-click HTML copy.
How to use Open Graph Debugger
- 1Enter the URL you want to debug.
- 2Click 'Analyze' to fetch and parse the Open Graph meta tags.
- 3Check your OG score and see which tags are present and which are missing.
- 4Preview how the link will appear on each platform: Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, and Slack.
- 5Copy all tags as HTML to fix missing metadata in your site's head.
Tips
- Always set og:title, og:description, og:image, and og:url — these four tags cover most platforms.
- Use a 1200x630 image for og:image — it displays well on all major platforms.
- Twitter uses twitter:card meta tags — set twitter:card to 'summary_large_image' for maximum visual impact.
