Video Compressor

Compress video files to reduce size while preserving quality

About Video Compressor

Compress video files to reduce their size while preserving visual quality, powered by server-side FFmpeg processing.

How to use Video Compressor

  1. 1Upload a video file (MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI) via drag and drop or the upload button.
  2. 2Select the compression quality: Low for maximum size reduction, Medium for a balanced result, or High for best visual fidelity.
  3. 3Optionally change the target resolution to further reduce file size (e.g., downscale 4K to 1080p).
  4. 4Choose the output format if you want to convert at the same time.
  5. 5Click Compress Video and wait for server-side processing to complete.
  6. 6Compare the before/after file sizes, then download the compressed video.

Tips

  • Downscaling resolution (e.g., 4K to 1080p) often yields the biggest size savings with minimal visible quality loss.
  • Medium quality is ideal for sharing on social media — small enough to upload fast, sharp enough to look good.
  • WebM output generally produces smaller files than MP4 at the same quality level.
  • For archival purposes, use High quality to preserve as much detail as possible.
