Video Compressor
Compress video files to reduce size while preserving quality
About Video Compressor
Compress video files to reduce their size while preserving visual quality, powered by server-side FFmpeg processing.
How to use Video Compressor
- 1Upload a video file (MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI) via drag and drop or the upload button.
- 2Select the compression quality: Low for maximum size reduction, Medium for a balanced result, or High for best visual fidelity.
- 3Optionally change the target resolution to further reduce file size (e.g., downscale 4K to 1080p).
- 4Choose the output format if you want to convert at the same time.
- 5Click Compress Video and wait for server-side processing to complete.
- 6Compare the before/after file sizes, then download the compressed video.
Tips
- Downscaling resolution (e.g., 4K to 1080p) often yields the biggest size savings with minimal visible quality loss.
- Medium quality is ideal for sharing on social media — small enough to upload fast, sharp enough to look good.
- WebM output generally produces smaller files than MP4 at the same quality level.
- For archival purposes, use High quality to preserve as much detail as possible.
