About Video to GIF
Convert any video file to an optimized GIF animation with control over width, frame rate, and quality.
How to use Video to GIF
- 1Upload a video file (MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, etc.).
- 2Set the output width in pixels — smaller widths produce lighter GIFs.
- 3Choose the frames per second (FPS) — lower values reduce file size.
- 4Select the quality level: Low for small files, High for best visual fidelity.
- 5Click Convert and wait for server-side processing, then download your GIF.
Tips
- Keep GIF width under 480px and FPS at 10-15 for social media to stay under size limits.
- Use Medium quality for the best balance between file size and visual sharpness.
- For very long videos, trim the clip first with our Video Trimmer to keep the GIF file size manageable.
