About PDF to Word
Convert your PDF documents into fully editable Word (.docx) files while preserving formatting, tables and images. Server-side processing for accurate results.
How to use PDF to Word
- 1Upload a PDF file via drag and drop or the file picker.
- 2The file is sent to the server for conversion. A progress indicator shows the current status.
- 3If the PDF contains scanned images, the tool detects it and offers OCR conversion (uses AI credits).
- 4Once the conversion is complete, preview the file size and details.
- 5Download the .docx file and open it in Word, Google Docs or any compatible editor.
Tips
- Text-based PDFs convert much more accurately than scanned documents. Use OCR only when necessary.
- Complex layouts with multiple columns or overlapping elements may require minor manual adjustments after conversion.
- For scanned PDFs, ensure the original scan quality is high — low-resolution scans reduce OCR accuracy.
Free vs paid limits
Free: not available. Starter+: unlimited conversions. OCR for scanned PDFs costs AI credits (Pro plan).
