About Batch Rename
Rename multiple files at once using patterns, sequential numbering, find-and-replace, and more — all processed in your browser.
How to use Batch Rename
- 1Drop files or click to select the files you want to rename.
- 2Choose a rename mode: sequential numbering, find & replace, prefix/suffix, date prefix, case conversion, or regex (Pro).
- 3Configure the mode settings — for example, set a prefix, start number, or search text.
- 4Preview the before/after filenames to verify the results look correct.
- 5Click "Download renamed files (ZIP)" to get all your renamed files in a single archive.
Tips
- Use the preview pane to catch naming conflicts (duplicate output names) before downloading.
- Sequential numbering with padding (e.g. 001, 002) keeps files sorted correctly in any file manager.
- Combine prefix/suffix mode with date prefix for organized photo or document archives.
Free vs paid limits
